From the center of Rohr, the route leads through the idyllic winter landscape, past the panoramic observation tower, before turning back in Krumbach and starting the return journey.
From the main entrance at the parking lot of the Raiffaisenbank in Rohr, you cross a bridge over the Zellenbach to the Zottl district. The trail now leads uphill a little to the viewing tower at 740m above sea level, which is known for its unmistakable view of the winter landscape. The forest path now leads downhill to Krumbach. Here you turn around and take the same natural path back to Rohr. This allows you to enjoy the idyllic cross-country ski trail on the western loop a second time.
From the A2 highway exit in Wöllersdorf, follow the B21 federal highway through many small towns, such as Pernitz and Gutenstein, until you reach Rohr im Gebirge after about 40 minutes.
Bus route 340 runs from Pernitz via Gutenstein to Rohr im Gebirge. Route 339 connects Rohr with Schwarzau im Gebirge and Pernitz.
