Experience the winter wonderland on the Rax

When snow covers the Rax plateau in brilliant white, this winter paradise really comes into its own. The Rax is only about 90 minutes from Vienna or Graz – even by public transport. The Rax cable car takes you the last 1,017 metres up to the plateau in just 8 minutes.

The clear winter air and exercise in the snow have a beneficial effect on body and mind, while the view stretches far into the Schwarzatal and Höllental valleys. Snowshoehire is available on site. On the plateau, the best winter trails and cosy places to stop for refreshments invite you to warm up and recharge your batteries.
