Whether it's food straight from the farmer, handmade products or atmospheric festivals - the markets in the Semmering-Rax region invite you to visit all year round. This is where farm producers, handicrafts and regional specialities come together.

Markets at a glance

  • Marktes at Reichenau Castle: Reichenau Castle is the stage for atmospheric events - from the famous Advent market to the colourful Easter market.
  • Reichenau farmers' market: From March to November, farmers present their products in the Kurpark - every 2nd Sunday of the month from 9 am to 3 pm.
  • Payerbach: The traditional Jakobi market takes place in the pavilion in the park .
  • Gloggnitz: The weekly market takes place on the main square every Friday from 2 to 6 pm.
  • Neunkirchen: In addition to the farmers' market on the first Saturday of the month, the annual market, Christmas market and numerous other events throughout the year attract visitors.
  • Nasswald: The regional market combines art and culinary delights. There are market stalls opposite the Protestant parish church on several dates between May and October
