The Karl-Ludwig-Haus is located at 1,804 meters above sea level on the Rax high plateau in Styria and is easily accessible from the Preiner Gscheid parking lot via the Schlangenweg trail in about two hours.
The location guarantees a sunny spot with a breathtaking panoramic view—ideal for taking a break and enjoying the scenery. From the hut, it’s also not far to the Heukuppe (2,007 m), the highest point of the Rax.
