The Grenzlandhütte owes its name to its special location - it is situated right on the border between Lower Austria and Styria. Despite the name, it is not isolated in the mountains, but in the middle of the village of Semmering at 1,012 meters above sea level and can be reached by public transport or by car.

The hut is a popular meeting place for social evenings, family celebrations or cozy get-togethers. Up to 32 people can be accommodated here (all year round if booked in advance). Traditional dishes and home-made pastries are available. On request, hut landlord Stefan provides atmospheric entertainment with his harmonica.
