Located in the heart of Reichenau an der Rax is the Landhaus Blauer Spatz, built in the classic 19th-century villa style. The building underwent extensive renovation in 2015 and now offers 7 beautifully renovated vacation apartments ranging from 20 to 100 m², accommodating 1–6 people. There’s also a small but beautiful garden with fruit trees, berry bushes, a 30 m² wooden deck, a cozy outdoor sauna for up to 4 people, and an outdoor cold-water shower. A ski and bike storage room is also available.
A cozy, dignified country-house style permeates all the apartments, featuring furniture spanning three centuries. Not only are all apartments carpet-free, but you’ll mostly be walking on 120-year-old hardwood floors. Plus, all the modern comforts: cozy bathtubs for two (not in all apartments), heated floors in the bathroom, free Wi-Fi throughout, ultra-flat-screen TVs with satellite connection (many of which are digital and thus streaming-capable), DVD players, and a selection of DVDs, etc. Pellet stoves in every apartment provide cozy warmth and a flickering fire at the touch of a button, even when the weather gets a bit cooler beyond the winter months.
Mobility Card+
Landhaus Blauer Spatz is a RUFbus partner. Overnight guests receive the Mobilitätscard+ at check-in, which grants them numerous benefits. Travel to and from the nearest train station, as well as trips under 7.5 km, are free on the RUFbus. For trips of 7.5 km or more, half the full fare is charged. In addition, overnight guests receive numerous discounts at popular excursion destinations in the region.
