Description
At an altitude of 1,464 meters , the beautifully situated refuge is located on one of the most panoramic mountains in the foothills of the Alps. From here, a panorama of up to 36 Eastern Alpine peaks opens up - a heavenly view in the truest sense of the word, which also accompanies many pilgrims on their way to Mariazell. The summit cross of the Obersberg is just a 5-minute walk from the hut.
Every weekend, the club members look after the guests and bring variety to the menu: from hearty meat dishes to vegetarian delicacies. Home-made pastries are a tempting way to finish - a treat with a view.
Hiking recommendation:
Opening hours: Mid-May - September; from Saturday 9 am to Sunday 3 pm and on public holidays
Overnight stay: 24 beds in 9 rooms
