In the Bucklige Welt and Wechselland regions, good food is closely linked to the region. From seed to finished product, much of the food is processed locally. This results in cuisine that bears the hallmarks of the region.

From field to plate

Sooo good Bucklige Welt-Wechselland shows how food is grown and processed here. The ingredients are harvested locally, fresh from the field or from our own gardens. What ends up on our plates has been grown just a few kilometres away, unadulterated and honest. The producers and hosts of our member businesses work on their products and dishes with dedication and knowledge.

Fresh and handmade

Whether in a restaurant, when shopping at a farm shop or directly from the producers: in Bucklige Welt and Wechselland, cuisine with provenance is created. Behind Sooo gut schmeckt Bucklige Welt-Wechselland (Bucklige Welt-Wechselland tastes so good) is a network that shows how regional ingredients can be turned into real culinary delights.

Craftsmanship and enjoyment up close

Those who want to delve deeper can experience culinary craftsmanship up close. During guided tours, tastings and discussions, our producers open their doors and show how tradition and passion give rise to special products. Here, culinary delights can also be ideally combined with a holiday.
