MaVi - that's Manfred Wiesbauer and Viktoria Haidl. They run their farm with passion, with a motley herd of cattle of different breeds, colors, sizes and ages roaming the spacious pastures of their farm ... . A few chickens, goats, sheep, rabbits, cats and her dog make life on the farm even more colorful.
Respectful treatment of their herd of suckler cows is particularly important to them. The animals spend their entire lives in the herd - in winter in a spacious playpen, the rest of the time on the pasture. They are fed according to the grass-fed principle, with no grain, maize or soy. The young animals are allowed to drink their mother's milk for around 10 months as they wish.
Species-appropriate animal husbandry, natural balance through a circular economy and the production of high-quality food are particularly important to the two farm managers. Slaughtering and processing takes place directly on the farm, and optimal meat maturation guarantees juicy, tender beef.
Another focus is on holistic processing "from nose to tail". Offal is cooked into tasty classics of Viennese cuisine, core fat is processed into species-appropriate bird feed, horns are transformed into jewelry and cattle hides are refined into hand-sewn unique pieces.
The handmade unique items are available all year round, and the high-quality beef can be bought on the farm several times a year.
