Cycle routes through Wiener Neustadt
Anyone who loves exercise and the great outdoors will find numerous cycling and mountain-biking routes in and around Wiener Neustadt – from EuroVelo 9 and the Piestingtal Cycle Route to the Wexl Trails.
Wiener Neustadt is the perfect setting for a modern cycling city: flat, compact and with an excellent network of cycle paths. The EuroVelo 9, which is around 2,000 kilometres long, runs right through the city and opens up routes in all directions – into the Vienna Alps, the Bucklige Welt or as far as the Schneeberg. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can choose the flatter routes along the Leitha or try out the cultural ‘museum cycling’ tour.
