Founded in the mid-1980s by Josef Payer, the INDOLERO teahouse quickly became known for its excellent fruit and herbal tea blends. The charm of the delightful, historic building, the medieval arches, the rustic beams of the tea room and, last but not least, the central location in Wiener Neustadt's city center, left Barbara Neumann-Schramböck, then a tea-loving student, wanting more.
She recognized the sparkling rough diamond and since 2005 has been realizing her very own vision of a small, family-run tea house that she had dreamed of for so long. The cosy, homely atmosphere of a Čajovna meets excellent tea qualities, specialized accessories and sound advice, in which Barbara's enthusiasm for all her treasures is clearly noticeable.
The tea selection currently includes around 150 varieties. Whether fruit, rooibush or herbal teas, black, green, white, oolong or Pu Erh teas - the focus is always on the highest quality at the best price.
At the INDOLERO tea house, you will find the best harvests from selected tea plantations around the world: Nepal, South Africa, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, China, Japan & many other countries produce the finest tea leaves, which are personally bottled and sealed by the owner in the famous golden tea bags with their elegant Art Nouveau design, ensuring optimal storage conditions.
