The route from Krumbach to Bad Schönau leads along remote roads through meadows, fields and quiet forest paths. At an altitude of around 600 meters, there is a great view of Krumbach and the castle. Ödenhofen is home to the well-known Triad inn, whose creative, seasonal cuisine has won several awards. It also offers a farm store, a pond, a vegetable garden and overnight accommodation. Reservations are recommended. The route continues to the center of Bad Schönau, past the Erasmus Cross. The spa town offers hotels, places to stop for refreshments and a spa park. The route returns along the Zöbernbach stream and leads to Krumbach.

Route description The start is at the Krumbach municipal parking lot. From there, go right over Marktstraße and Tiefenbachstraße, following the orange marking, turn left towards Lindenhof - Fasching - Triad - Bad Schönau (km 2.2). At Lindenhof, turn right towards Triad - Bad Schönau onto the paved road towards Dirndlbauer (Fasching). In Fasching (km 3.2), take the field path, turn left into the forest and follow the forest or forestry road until the Uterlutsch farm road. Then turn right towards Triad, cross the federal road and turn left along the bike path to Krumbach town centre or to the Bad Schönau town centre.

Getting there From Vienna: Take the A2 South Motorway, exit at Krumbach. Continue to the Krumbach junction. Continue on Kirchschlager Str./B55. Turn left onto Marktstraße in Krumbach. Turn right to stay on Marktstraße. From Graz: Take the A2 South Motorway, exit at Aspang-Zöbern. Turn right onto L137. Continue on Kampichl and Hauptstraße. Hauptstraße turns left in Zöbern and becomes Austraße. Follow L137 to Unterhaus near Krumbach and turn left onto Kirchschlager Str./B55. Continue on B55. Turn right onto Marktstraße and left to stay on Marktstraße.
