Description

The route starts at Wiener Neustadt railroad station and connects the EuroVelo9 with the Piestingtal cycle path. Several places along the Piesting invite you to refresh yourself in the cool water. The route finally leads through Pernitz and Piesting to Rohr im Gebirge.

There are numerous places to stop for refreshments along the route, for example at one of the inns along the way. You can find all the inns in the Vienna Alps here: https: //www.wieneralpen.at/wirtshauskultur.

Route description The start is at Wiener Neustadt main station towards Akademiepark. Along EuroVelo 9 you eventually reach Sollenau. The Piesting Valley cycle path then leads through Wöllersdorf, Piesting, and Pernitz deep into the Biedermeier Valley to Gutenstein.
