Description

The route connects Wiener Neustadt with the Bucklige Welt and impresses with its idyllic natural landscape and fantastic views. Numerous refreshment stops and other summery "places to be" refresh the cycle tour.

The route promises special enjoyment of nature and cycling for families and leisure cyclists as well as sports enthusiasts.

Route description The start is in the centre of Wiener Neustadt near the historic Kasematten. From here you proceed to the Wiener Neustadt central station before leaving the city centre and continuing to the pine forest.The route follows the B17, which you follow southwards to the junction to Schwarzau.After crossing the Leitha river, the route continues to Pitten. The section through Schwarzau and Pitten connects Wiener Neustadt with the Bucklige Welt. In the district of Schiltern, the route turns towards Thernberg and continues to Lichtenegg, Ransdorf and Krumbach.Shortly before the destination is the Eisgreissler in Krumbach, which attracts cyclists with its exclusive ice cream varieties for a well-deserved refreshment and also attracts the little ones with its exceptional adventure playground.Finally, the route leads to the destination of Bad Schönau, where cyclists are rewarded with idyllic natural landscapes and breathtaking views.
