Description

When the hills gradually turn into mountains and the scenery slowly passes by, you really start to appreciate the beauty of a cycle tour. These impressions can be particularly enjoyed from May to October on the "Vom Buckl zum Berg" cycle tour, which takes you to places with great views and many an excellent inn. From booking accommodation to special menus, everything has already been prepared.

This sporting and culinary challenge not only challenges your calves, but also your sense of taste. As well as fantastic views, there is always time for a visit to selected Lower Austrian innkeepers.

Route description The route starts at the Krumbacherhof in Krumbach. The route first follows the Zöbernbach bike path to Kirchschlag, then it goes up to the 1000 hills. Accompanied by spectacular views, it continues over the hills of Hollenthon, Wiesmath, and Hochwolkersdorf - those who want to add some extra kilometers take the path via Schwarzenbach. Down to Bad Erlach, the route leads into the Schneeberg region. Along the Hohe Wand - those who want to enjoy more views gather their last strength, take on the road to Hohe Wand, and take a look from the Skywalk - the final stage leads to the Alpen-Aktiv Country Guesthouse "Zur Schubertlinde". The inn offers not only a regional 4-course dinner and a cozy bed but also a wellness area.The next day, the route leads back to Krumbach via Gloggnitz and Kirchberg am Wechsel.
