Asparagus tartlets with goat's cheese and honey

Delicious puff pastry tartlets with asparagus, goat's cheese and honey from the Piribauer apiary

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

2. Wash the asparagus, remove the woody ends and peel the lower third.

3. Cut the asparagus into pieces approx. 2 cm in size.

4. Divide the goat's cheese into 12 equal portions.

5. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 12 squares (approx. 8 x 8 cm).

6. Arrange the dough squares on the baking tray and brush with beaten egg.

7. Top with goat's cheese and asparagus and fold in the edges.

8. Season the tartlets with salt, pepper, chopped thyme and 1 teaspoon of honey each.

9. Bake in the hot oven for approx. 20 minutes.
