Wartholz Palace was once the summer residence of Emperor Karl and Empress Zita and is now privately owned with its spacious park. Since the opening of the revitalized palace nursery as a garden center, part of the imperial palace park has been open to the public. From here, visitors can enjoy a wonderful view of the architecturally charming palace nursery and the imposing Rax mountains.
The courtly ambience of the palace nursery can also be enjoyed in its elegant café and when shopping in the interior store. For culture enthusiasts, the castle nursery also offers regular readings in the Wartholzer Literatursalon as well as recitals, concerts and summer cinema screenings. The location is also a wonderful place to celebrate weddings.
