Directly from the village past the butcher's shop in Nötsch, follow the yellow trail to the Himberghaus, which is unfortunately no longer open. Continue on the red trail to the Alleluja cave and along the Walfahrerweg trail back to Puchberg.
Hiking poles are always an advantage in winter, since they make it easier to navigate slippery spots.

From the terrace of the Himberghaus, you have a wonderful view of the village and the Schneeberg. It’s worth taking a detour to see the memorial plaque honoring Prof. Dr. Günther Schlesinger, the founder of nature conservation in Austria.
