CROSS-COUNTRY TRAIL LIABILITY NOTICE: The Cross-Country Skiing & Winter Sports Club expressly states that use of the trails is at your own risk and that it assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever. The club does not guarantee that the cross-country trails will be in a specific condition. Emergency vehicles and trail grooming equipment may be on the trails even during operating hours. Furthermore, please note that there are no evening trail inspections.

TRAIL USE REGULATIONS

There is a fee to use the trail; tickets are available at the ticket booths located directly at the entrance to the trail network. Inspections on the trail are conducted by representatives of the Cross-Country Skiing & Winter Sports Club. The inspectors are authorized to collect fees! If a valid user ticket cannot be presented during an inspection, the inspector is authorized to collect €15.00 immediately. Children 15 years of age and younger are admitted free of charge.

• Please observe the signs at the entry points and along the trail, and do not leave the cross-country ski trail.
• The trail must be used on the right-hand side throughout the entire area.
• Please comply with all forestry and hunting regulations. Pay attention to marked wildlife areas and restricted zones, and do not enter them, as the animals also need peace and quiet.
• Dogs are not permitted on the trail, even on a leash, as the entire trail runs through forest and hunting grounds.
• Do not litter; please take your trash home with you.
• In the event of snowfall or strong winds, the trail will NOT be groomed.
• Never ski alone in high-alpine terrain; always ski in groups. In the event of an accident, when reporting it, provide the exact location number of the marker signs where you are currently located, as well as your name and cell phone number. This will significantly facilitate the coordination of the rescue operation.

Purchasing a VIP Card or cross-country ski pass does not guarantee that the entire trail network will be available.

Be sure to dress appropriately for the season (cross-country skiing gear, winter-appropriate clothing). Bring a trail map (available at the trailheads) and your cell phone, and save the mountain rescue emergency number: 140

Right next to the Dissauer Inn is the trailhead, from where you can access the Feistritzsattel-Kummerbauerstadl trail (Trail No. 10) directly.

Parking is available

From Vienna: Take the A2 and S6 to the Gloggnitz - Höllental exit (B27) – L134 toward Otterthal – turn right onto the L175 toward Trattenbach – follow the road (approx. 10 km) to GH Dissauer.

From Graz: Take the S35 to Bruck an der Mur – take the S6 to the Gloggnitz exit – take the L134 to Otterthal – turn right onto the L175 toward Trattenbach – follow the road (approx. 10 km) to GH Dissauer.

The GH Dissauerboarding point is not accessible by public transportation.

Take the train to Gloggnitz Station; from there, take bus 1734 (toward Kirchberg am Wechsel) to Otterthal (GH Rottensteiner), then transfer to bus 1736 (toward Trattenbach). From there, take a taxi to the GH Dissauer trailhead.
