This hike offers an atmospheric crossing of the densely wooded Kampsteiner Schwaig, the highest point of this hike on the Wechsel. Here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view. The rustic mountain farming landscape, which radiates harmony in perfection, is particularly impressive. Along the way, you pass through St. Corona - the famous pilgrimage and mountain village - and Mariensee, which is perceived as a kind of lumberjack colony. The destination is the Mönichkirchner Schwaig, where the summit station of the chair lift is located and which is like a kind of base camp for the further conquest of the Hochwechsel halfway up the mountain.
