Hiking tour Starting from Schmankerl-Wirt next to the Waldbad
Take a long walk around Markt Piesting and enjoy a wonderful view over the beautiful landscape of the entrance town to the Biedermeier Valley!
The Tut-Gut circular hike is a moderately difficult route, but rewards you with beautiful views. It leads up over the local mountain to the Red Cross at an altitude of 504 meters, where you can enjoy a wonderful view. The Piestinger circular hiking trail takes you to Dreistetten, past the Starhemberg ruins. Here, the Zitherwirt and Scherrerwirt inns with their village museum invite you to stop for a bite to eat. With an all-terrain model, the loop is also suitable for baby carriages. Due to the short walking time, it is also ideal for families with children who enjoy hiking. After the hike, you return to the Schmankerl-Wirt, where you can stop off and enjoy a well-earned meal. Next door, the forest pool offers a refreshing dip for hard-working hikers.
