Entertaining walk through Otterthal
Start at the Gasthof zur Post near the Rottensteiner family in the direction of the fire station. Head east along the cycle path along the Otterbach stream, turn left towards Goldberg and turn left into Hintergasse at the chapel. Along the stream, turn left and continue to the crossroads. There, cross the crosswalk and turn right, walk along the sidewalk for approx. 50m, then turn left and cross the road and return to the fire station or inn on the cycle path.
Parking is available at the inn
Take the Gloggnitz exit on the S6 and continue on Höllental Str./B27; turn left to stay on Höllental Str., then turn right onto Schlaglstraße, passing Wartenstein Castle on the way to Schlagl and Otterthal.
From the Gloggnitz train station, take bus line 367 to the “Feuerwehr Otterthal” stop. The walk begins here.

The small chapel you pass by was built in honor of the fallen from Otterthal who served in World War I and World War II.
A stop at the Gasthof zur Post rounds out the walk. The Rottensteiner family will treat you to local delicacies.
