Description

A leisurely uphill trail leads from the center of Mönichkirchen up to the Mönichkirchner Schwaig, where there are numerous places to stop for refreshments.

Then it's downhill on a flowing single trail through the forest back to Mönichkirchen. A perfect route for a casual mountain bike excursion for beginners or those who simply love rushing along natural trails.

Getting there From Vienna:Take exit 69 Edlitz/Aspang on the Südautobahn/E59 and follow B54 towards Aspang, then continue on B54 to Mönichkirchen am Wechsel. Turn into the town and drive to the ski lift parking lot.From Graz:Take exit 95-F Friedberg/Pinggau on the Südautobahn/E59, turn left and first follow B63, then turn onto B54 towards Mönichkirchen.
