Leisurely hike with magnificent views of the Wechsel region, Stuhleck, Rax and Schneeberg
The trail leads from the Hotel Molzbachhof via the Ebenfeld to the Wolfgangskirche church. We continue along the Kirchgrabenweg to the Kernstockwarte, where we are rewarded with a magnificent view of the Wechsel region, Stuhleck, Rax and Schneeberg.
A connecting path takes us from the Kernstockwarte to the Hermannshöhle, the largest stalactite cave in Lower Austria. We return to the Hotel Molzbachhof along the Talbach stream.
Sturdy footwear is recommended
Free parking is available in town.
On the A2, take the Aspang exit toward Kirchberg am Wechsel, or on the A2–S6, take the Gloggnitz exit toward Kirchberg am Wechsel
Take the train to Gloggnitz or Aspang station, then continue by bus to Kirchberg am Wechsel

St. Wolfgang's Church
According to legend, St. Wolfgang founded the church. The church can only be visited as part of a guided tour. Reservations for a tour can be made at the tourist office by calling 02641/2460.
Calvary
Calvary was built in 1713–14 after the plague had subsided. Instead of the usual 14 Stations of the Cross, it features chapels with realistic depictions of the mysteries of the Sorrowful Rosary.
Hermann’s Cave
Visits are only possible with a guided tour.
