The witches' route owes its name to the witches' path in Bromberg. There, 7 plaques tell of the burning of witches and the fate of the herbalist Afra Schickh. For beer lovers, there is the private brewery Wolfsbräu in Thernberg. Bucklige Welt beer is produced and sold here. History buffs can visit the Archduke Johann Documentation in Thernberg and animal lovers can visit the Lechner alpaca farm and adventure farm.
Make sure when choosing the route that it matches your experience and your fitness. Inform yourself in advance about the weather forecast.
When going out, we recommend wearing a cycling helmet. Wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear. Think of rain and sun protection. Take enough to drink with you.
