The Grünstigbach Promenade is perfect, especially when you’re short on time or want to go for a morning run. The path runs entirely on solid ground through the town to the Grünstigbach. It’s a special experience for culture and architecture enthusiasts.
Safety
Make sure when choosing the route that it matches your experience and your fitness. Check the weather report in advance.
Running tips:
Start slowly to get your circulation going gradually. After about 10 minutes take a short break with stretching exercises. Vary the pace to increase fitness gains. Avoid overexertion, especially on steep sections; better to walk if your fitness level is insufficient. Observe warm-up and cool-down phases. Finish the run gradually and do not stretch too intensely afterward!
Wear suitable clothing and good running shoes. Remember rain and sun protection. Bring enough to drink.
