Tut gut hiking trail, route 3 up the Kampstein
Leisurely hiking trail from the Ödenhof at 950 m above sea level with panoramic views of the Sonnwendstein, Rax and Schneeberg - continue along the forest road to the water reservoir (rest area) and through the shady forest to the Almrauschhütte at 1.240 m above sea level - continue via the Wendelin and Antrittsstein (legendary point) to the Kampsteiner Schwaig (1,400 m) - past the summit cross (1,467 m) to the Herrgottschnitzerhütte (1,318 m) - reservoir (1,140 m) - Gasthof Orthof (1,000 m) - Ödenhof

Preparation
Make sure when choosing the route that it matches your experience and fitness level. Check the weather forecast beforehand. Weather in the mountains can change unexpectedly fast. Always set out properly equipped (e.g. rain protection).
Check whether the huts and snack stations you want to visit along the way are open. Inform someone about your chosen route and your planned return before you set off.
Always bring suitable maps. Wear sturdy shoes adapted to the route, take sun and rain protection, as well as water and a small snack. Bring your mobile phone and store the mountain rescue emergency number: 140
Parking lot at Gasthaus Ödenhof (In der Öd 15, 2880 St. Corona am Wechsel)
From Vienna: A2 South motorway to the Edlitz-Aspang exit, then continue on B54 Wechsel federal road towards Aspang. Via L137 to St. Corona.
From Graz: On the A2 South motorway exit Zöbern direction Aspang - via L137 to St. Corona.

Take the train via Wiener Neustadt to Aspang and from there the regional bus 369 towards Kirchberg am Wechsel to the Wexl Arena St. Corona.
Recommendation: Get off at Wexl Arena St. Corona and cover the footpath via the Kugelbahnweg to Gasthof Orthof and from there join the Tut Gut Route 3.
Routes 2 and 3 include beautiful viewpoints, rest stops, and places to relax. Part of the return path crosses the exciting ant trail, and you can cap off your adventure with a ride on the summer toboggan run.
