Hiking tour Starting from Recreation oasis parking lot
The well-signposted educational forest trail with its information boards, benches, viewing points and recreational oasis offers a varied and entertaining walk through the forest.
The starting point for the forest nature trail is either at the Erholungsoase parking lot (see how to get there) or you can walk from the village square, past the Overland Café-Bar and up the hollow path on the right. At the top (Erholungsoase parking lot) you will find the first rest area. If you follow the beautiful forest path uphill, you will soon reach the recreational oasis in the middle of the forest. It's worth taking a short break here to enjoy the peace and quiet and unwind. If you plan a visit here in summer, you will find berries to snack on, a barefoot path, a spring stone and comfortable loungers and hammocks between the trees. The path winds its way further up, dotted with information boards, to the Hubertus Chapel. Turn left, continue along the path and follow the signs to the Krainerwand. A final bench invites you to linger and listen to the babbling of the village stream. Here you can decide whether to cross the stream and walk down to the starting point via the village road or walk back the same way.
