The hike leads via Königsberg to the Lehenkreuz, where you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view, and via the outdoor pool, where you can cool off, back to Edlitz.
The circular trail via Königsberg leads through forests and across meadows and invites you to relax. In the wonderful surroundings of Edlitz, you can forget the stress of everyday life while hiking. At the Lehenkreuz, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the hilly landscape of the Bucklige Welt. The village center of Edlitz with its good infrastructure is an ideal starting point for hiking and walking trails. A visit to the beautiful, late Gothic fortified church in Edlitz and the interesting and informative introductory documentation of the fortified church route is definitely worthwhile. The "Bucklige Welt" fortified church route starts in Edlitz and leads past the beautiful fortified churches of Krumbach, Hochneukirchen, Bad Schönau, Kirchschlag, Lichtenegg, Hollenthon, Wiesmath, Hochwolkersdorf, Bromberg, Lanzenkirchen and Katzelsdorf. The Königsberg hike not only passes the fortified church, but also the outdoor pool. You can cool off here on hot summer days. A slide, a table tennis table and a table football table provide variety and excitement. The buffet is also available to all non-bathing guests and offers hikers a chance to refresh themselves. The "Grüner Baum" inn in the center of Edlitz invites you to stop for a bite to eat.
Your hikes in the Vienna Alps should be a thoroughly beautiful and safe experience. Please note the following:
