Hiking tour Starting from Town hall square Grimmenstein
The path leads flat along the Pitten, partly on EuroVelo 9, to the Gasthaus Pichler in Petersbaumgarten, which is appreciated for its down-to-earth, classic tavern cuisine and can be accessed via a ramp.
One of the many beautiful hiking trails in and around Grimmenstein is the water trail. It leads hiking enthusiasts along the Pitten through a varied environment. The starting point is the town hall square in Grimmenstein, which is the center of social activity depending on the time of year. From there, the trail stretches north through huts to Petersbaumgarten. There, refreshments await walkers at Gasthaus Pichler. In the barrier-free version, you can either take the train from the Petersbaumgarten stop back to Grimmenstein or continue along the path.
This route is suitable for baby carriages, wheelchairs, etc. It runs mainly on a road with little traffic and along EuroVelo 9.
