Hiking tour Starting from Main square Lichtenwörth / GH Halbwax
Pure idyll around Lichtenwörth: peaceful meadows, country lanes and paths along streams past restaurants and historical sights make for pleasant relaxation.
The starting point of the tour is the main square in Lichtenwörth or Gasthaus Halbwax. Through the village and via Rondellgasse you come to a field path that leads along an idyllic meadow to Eggendorf, where you cross the Fischa on a bridge before starting the return journey. Via the Leitha dam near Zillingdorf along the Leitha river, you finally return to Lichtenwörth, where you should make a detour towards Villateich so as not to miss out on the idyllic setting of the Nadelburg castle and its museum and church. The tour ends at the Adlertor gate and the historic factory buildings before returning to the starting point.
