From Fischbach via the mystical Teufelstein and P. Rosegger's forest home to the Pretul

The Styrian main trail of the alpannonia® hiking trail begins in the center of Fischbach with an ascent to the so-called "Zellerkreuz". The hiking trail continues to the Almtor, from where you can reach the Teufelstein summit (1499m) in around 15 minutes via a branch-off. The Teufelstein is home to the oldest alpine cult site in Styria. From the Almtor, the route takes a leisurely walk without any major inclines towards Alpl. From Alpl, the route climbs steadily up to the Rattener Alm with its striking wind farm. From there you reach the Rosegger Schutzhaus via alpine meadows.

Tip: take a detour to Peter Rosegger's birthplace and the forest school. On the Alpl, you can visit the forest school founded by Peter Rosegger, which also houses Austria's first hiking museum.
