On the way through the Willersdorf Gorge, we can turn right at the Willersdorf/Aschau/Gschaidt intersection and head toward Kreuzberg. About 500 meters further on, we have to decide whether to go left (clockwise) or right (counterclockwise) to circle this hill. If we go around to the left, we’ll walk along the base of this hill toward Aschau, passing the local soccer field along the way, and reach the town on the main street right next to the clock museum. Turning right at the very first side street, we reach a lookout point after just a few meters, from which we have a magnificent panoramic view of many sections of the Alpannonia Main Trail. Whether it’s the Hochwechsel, the striking viewpoint hill near Bernstein, or the Hirschenstein with its transmission towers visible from afar, all of this can be admired from up here. Passing the lookout tower, we turn right down a small alley between the first two houses and follow the forest trail to the fork where we had to make a decision just a short while ago. Passing the Christ Cross once more, we rejoin the regional route to Gschaidt.
