Starting from the NaturSinne Monastery Seminar Hotel, we follow the access road to the state highway toward Aspang and turn left onto it. We walk along the paved road for just a few meters; before reaching the bridge over the highway, we leave it again and follow a forest path uphill to the left. Through the forest, we reach a small hill and turn right at a crossroads with a wayside shrine. A farmhouse is the first house in the Maierhöfen settlement, which we pass through and leave at the lower end. Once again, we head through the forest, continuing straight ahead all the way to Zöbern. We continue straight ahead all the way to the municipal office on the main road; there, we turn left and follow the main road to the intersection leading to Schlag/Pichl. Just a few meters further on, we follow the road to the right up to the hillside settlement and hike through forests and meadows to the intersection near Schlag, where we meet the main Alpannonia trail.
