This trail is an easy alternative to the main alpannonia trail. It leads from the center of Bad Schönau'via the spa gardens up to the viewing platform at Hutwisch. The trail climbs steadily uphill through woodland.
Starting from the square in front of the municipal office, we walk through the beautiful spa park, at the other end of which we find the first signposts, and follow a forest path up to the right into the woods. We cross this largely straight ahead, steadily ascending slightly. Finally, we reach the state road where the alpannonia main route crosses.
