Furry friends you can pet

Visitors to the Hohe Wand Nature Park will not only be treated to breathtaking views, but will also encounter a wide variety of animals. In the wildlife enclosure, roe deer, ibex, mouflon and other animals live in their natural habitat. At the petting zoo, llamas, goats and mini pigs await animal lovers of all ages.

Treasures along the way

The new ASAGAN treasure hunt takes you through woods and meadows with a treasure map and an explorer’s booklet, past exciting stations and hidden clues. If you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll solve puzzles, discover nature from a whole new perspective and come across all sorts of surprises along the way.

Secrets between the woods and the meadow

As well as the treasure hunt, there are plenty of other little adventures to be had in the nature park. In theWitches’ Wood, colourful stones mark the way to hidden play stations. On guided llama and alpaca walks, you can explore the beautiful countryside of the Hohe Wand alongside the animals.

Adrenaline and panoramic views

The Skywalk is one of the region’s most impressive vantage points. Situated right on the edge of the cliff, it offers sweeping views down into the valley and gives a real sense of the plateau’s unique location.

The Hohe Wand observationtower on the opposite side of the plateau offers a sweeping view across the landscape. Together with the Skywalk, the Hohe Wand can be seen from two different perspectives.

Huts and inns

A stop for refreshments helps set a good rhythm for a day’s walking: set off, arrive, take a break and carry on.

Hiking tours on the Hohe Wand

Hikes on the Hohe Wand are as varied as the terrain itself. Whilst there are peaceful paths up on the plateau, the approaches offer a varied route through the forest and up shady slopes.
