Description
The Kohlröserlhaus is located in the middle of the Hohe Wand Nature Park at 900m above sea level, was built back in 1935 as a typical mountain hut and has retained its rustic charm, cosiness and traditions despite extensive modernization.
Mountain inn and exhibition space in one: in addition to minerals from all over the world, regional finds such as cave bear teeth and fossilized snails can also be admired at the Gasthof Kohlröserlhaus on the Hohe Wand. The kitchen proves its qualities with dishes such as lean Meisel with creamed runner beans and parsley potatoes or the famous Kohlröserl cake made according to great-grandmother's recipe. The house can be reached by car and is a 90-minute walk from Dreistetten sports ground.
