The wine tavern 30er Grund in Matzendorf has been run as a side business by the Grund family for four generations. In a quaint courtyard right next to the church in the town center, Johann and Doris Grund, together with their family, serve regional wine and down-to-earth delicacies. The business places great emphasis on an authentic, traditional wine tavern atmosphere and personal hospitality.
The wine tavern is open (“ausg’steckt”) on several dates throughout the year: March 19–29, May 6–17, September 17–27, and October 23–November 2, daily from 11 a.m. until closing time.
