Description
In the 1920s, coal miners in Schneebergland built a workers' home in their spare time. They danced, laughed and lived there. Thanks to Bea von Schrader, the empty jewel has now been turned back into a place for people to meet and dance.
Since 2008, the almost 100-year-old cinema and theater has been an inspiring space for artistic development and presentation. Urhof20 acts as a nucleus for innovative art production and event concepts. Here you can experience special moments, take part in uplifting performances and have the opportunity to come into direct contact with the artists.
The annual program of dance, music and light shows invites visitors to experience exciting contemporary art in a historic location surrounded by the region's unique natural scenery.
