Playground and Themed Trails in the “Schwartz-Wald”
Surrounded by nature, the playground in the “Schwartz-Wald” invites the whole family to enjoy a fun-filled break. Five lovingly designed themed trails wind through the forest, combining physical activity, play, and interesting facts.
Nature Trail
On the nature trail, visitors can discover the local forest and plant life. Exciting sights and sounds make the loop a special nature experience for explorers of all ages.
Fairy Tale Forest
Various fairy tale stations invite visitors to read, marvel, and discover. Some stations are also equipped with QR codes that allow visitors to listen to short text passages.
Labyrinth
The labyrinth offers an entertaining way to pass the time while also providing interesting information about flowers and herbs.
Crystal Trail
On the CrystalTrail, hardworking dwarves are searching for sparkling gemstones. Along the way, you can find out how many treasures have already been collected.
Way of the Cross
The Way of the Cross was designed in collaboration with the St. Egyden Elementary School. All 15 stations feature QR codes that allow visitors to listen to explanations and information directly.
Puzzle Rally During Summer Vacation
Every year in July and August, a puzzle rally is held for children up to ten years old. Exciting challenges and tricky questions about the “Schwartz Forest” await participants.
The playground and themed trails are open daily. Admission is by voluntary donation.
Tip: Plan on spending about half an hour on each loop trail. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely break at Restaurant Schwartz.
