The listed "Schneeberger Säge" sawmill with its "Venetian gate" is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, on the Hengstbach stream. In general, this was a technical innovation that Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) had triggered with the construction of the prototype of a sawmill, but was greatly modified.
