The viewing platform at the Ottohaus, also known as the Vilma-Haid Aussicht, at an altitude of 1,644 m offers a fantastic view over Großau, Reichenau and the entire Schwarzatal valley. The Ottohaus can be reached from the summit station of the Rax Areal Ropeway in around 40 minutes. An overnight stay at the Ottohaus is particularly worthwhile to experience the sunrise from the lookout point.
