In the spa gardens of Payerbach, on the banks of the Schwarza and below the impressive viaduct of the Semmering Railway World Heritage Site, around 30 large-format panels will be used in 2026/2027 to show the
photographic explorations of the similarities and contrasts between the Alps and the Arctic.
The Semmering Railway, the first mountain railroad in the world, has always been a symbol of new departures into new worlds on the one hand and sustainable nature and mountain experiences in the mountainous landscape in the
surrounding the metropolis of Vienna. EWALD PUTZ's photographs provide insights into the natural and cultural landscape of the Höllental valley, while CHRISTIAN HOFER depicts the arctic world of Spitsbergen.
In the immediate vicinity of the Kurpark, the Alber confectionery invites you to visit and the Payerbacherhof opposite is a wonderful place to dine.
Tip: A visit to the photo park can be combined with a visit to the Payerbach outdoor pool or a round of miniature golf at the Payerbach miniature golf course.
