Marien Villa, now Villa Sebaldi

In 1895, Johann Mader had Karl Postl build another villa next to his “Waldquelle” villa, which he named after his wife. The basement is constructed of grouted rubble stone masonry, with the windows featuring segmental arches made of brick. The corners of the ground floor feature decorative ashlar blocks. On the north side, a massive veranda juts out, accessed by a wide open staircase. Hubert and Helga Klösch purchased the villa 25 years ago to spend their retirement on the Rax.

From 2009 to 2017, the basement housed the K&K Village Museum, featuring nostalgic objects and dolls, lovingly curated by dollmaker Helga Klösch. Visitors could admire a show kitchen from great-grandmother’s time, a doll collection, and school supplies from the turn of the century.

Since 2007, the house has also housed a private cardiology practice, which moved into the former museum’s premises in 2017.

Since 2017, the house has also been rented out to summer vacationers and can now accommodate up to 12 people. The house has been lovingly renovated since the pandemic, with the intention and effort to preserve the old walls and the turn-of-the-century spirit.

There are now two options for renting the house:

1. Up to 6 people—one level

2. Up to 12 people—two levels

In either case, you’ll have the house all to yourselves!
