Experience culture, nature, and history in a special atmosphere: Our modern, well-equipped vacation apartments are located in a house over 200 years old that has been renovated with great care and attention to detail. Here, historic charm meets contemporary living comfort—right in the heart of Reichenau an der Rax, just about an hour from Vienna.
All six apartments offer free Wi-Fi. A limited number of parking spaces are available right at the building; alternatively, there are free public parking options in the immediate vicinity. All apartments are equipped with a double bed and feature a kitchen or kitchenette with a stove, a dining area, and a bathroom. The three larger apartments on the upper floor also offer a cozy sitting area with a TV and a separate bedroom. These apartments also include a sofa bed that can accommodate two additional guests.
A shared garden with a terrace, featuring a seating area and lounge chairs perfect for relaxing, is accessible via the shared building entrance and is available to all guests. The three smaller apartments on the ground floor each have their own exit leading to a private outdoor area with seating.
To ensure a thoroughly pleasant stay, our guests have access to additional amenities such as coffee capsules and select toiletries. In addition, our key deposit system allows for a convenient and flexible check-in—even outside of fixed arrival times.
Convenient Travel—Even Without a Car
The vacation apartments are easily accessible by public transportation. From Vienna, you can travel comfortably and stress-free on the Südbahn (ÖBB) to Payerbach-Reichenau—and from there directly to us. The Payerbach-Reichenau train station is a 6-minute bus ride away; the bus stop (Erlangerplatz) is right in front of the house.
A prime location for culture lovers
The Reichenau Theater, home to the renowned Reichenau Festival, is just a few minutes’ walk away. This puts you right in the heart of the action, allowing you to relax and enjoy the performances—without long commutes or the hassle of finding parking.
Pure nature right on your doorstep
Reichenau is the gateway to the Rax region—ideal for hikers, rock climbers, and those seeking relaxation. The valley station of the Rax Cable Car is just a 5-minute drive away and takes you directly into the high mountains with spectacular views, alpine huts, and scenic trails. You can also easily reach the Rax Cable Car by bus—the stop (Erlangerplatz) is right in front of the hotel.
