Hiking tour Starting from Town hall square, Grimmenstein
A leisurely circular walk along the waterway in Grimmenstein.
One of the many beautiful hiking trails in and around Grimmenstein is the water trail. It leads hiking enthusiasts along the Pitten through a varied environment. The starting point is the town hall square in Grimmenstein, which is the center of social activity depending on the time of year. From there, the trail stretches north through huts to Petersbaumgarten. There, refreshments await walkers at Gasthaus Pichler. The route then continues through the valley settlement along the Kegelbach stream. For a short distance, the path slowly leads through a wooded area back towards Grimmenstein. Especially in summer when temperatures are high, the woodland offers variety and, above all, shade. The last part of the trail is similar to the beginning, and when you finally reach the town hall square, you can end the day comfortably there.
Accessibility:
Between Grimmenstein and Petersbaumgarten, the path is suitable for baby carriages and wheelchair users. From there, the trail can either be walked back or taken back to Grimmenstein via the train stop in Petersbaumgarten.
