The trail to the Kulmriegelspitze is a short extension of the G1a castle trail

The trail leads along forest paths over the Grimmensteiner Kulmriegel. You can take a short break at the Mariengrotte grotto and continue to Grimmenstein Castle, where you can stop off at the castle tavern. Continuing on, there is then a branch path to the top of the Kulmriegel, the local mountain of the municipality of Grimmenstein. Return along the castle path via the Eben and the Kunstgraben back to the starting point.

Route description Signposted with G1 (Kulmriegelweg) - G1a (Castle Path) - G1c (Path to the Peak)Starting from Rathausplatz, follow Schulgasse to the Kunstgraben junction. Here turn left uphill to the bridge, then take the path into the forest to the right towards the grotto. Pass the grotto and before the Grün settlement, turn left towards the castle. Pass the castle and just before the Eben settlement turn left into the Kunstgraben. From here, it goes downhill back to Schulgasse and to Rathausplatz.
Parking Parking is possible at Edlitz-Grimmenstein train station.
Getting there Access via the A2, exit Grimmenstein, possible.
