Ascent with the Schneeberg chairlift and 2 to 3-hour hike along the Schneeberg to Breite Ries and back to Losenheim.
The "Tut gut!" - hike leads along forest paths at the foot of the Schneeberg, where unique views await you. You can reach the starting point comfortably by chairlift or on foot in around an hour along the yellow markings on Tut Gut Route 1. When planning your route, you should take into account the opening times of the Schneeberg chairlift. At the top of the Edelweisshütte you have a view from the terraces that extends down into the valley to Puchberg and as far as Lake Neusiedl. Here you can rest and indulge in culinary delights. Afterwards, take the high alpine hiking trail over the Nandlboden past the Lahning Ries and the Nandlgrat to the Breiten Ries. After the unmanned Ferdinand Bürkle hut, you make your way back to the valley station of the Schneeberg chairlift.
Note: The Rieshütte is not open to the public!

Always carry suitable maps. Wear sturdy shoes appropriate for the route (mountain boots or trekking shoes), take sun and rain protection as well as water and a snack. Bring your mobile phone and save the mountain rescue emergency number: 140.
