An easy hike, but one that does require some fitness due to its length, with a wonderful view of the New World from the summit cross.
Partly asphalted, but otherwise comfortable walking on forest paths. The view from the summit cross makes up for the somewhat steep ascent. The church is famous for its frescoes. If you are hungry after the hike, you will find excellent food at Gasthaus Friedrich.

Parking spaces along the main street; guests can also park at Gasthof Friedrich.
From Vienna on the Südautobahn, take the Wöllersdorf-Wr. Neustadt Norf exit, then take the B21 toward Piesting/Gutenstein; at Piesting, turn left toward Dreistetten and then continue on to Muthmannsdorf
Take the ÖBB train from Wiener Neustadt toward Puchberg/Schneeberg to the Winzendorf station, then take the bus to Muthmannsdorf, or
directly by bus from Wiener Neustadt to Muthmannsdorf.
In June, a stop at the parish wine tavern is highly recommended!
