Cycling tour Starting from Wiener Neustadt Train Station
Starting from Wr. Neustadt, there are many museums along the cycle paths. The following museums can be visited free of charge with the Lower Austria Card: Gauermann Museum Miesenbach and Waldbauernmuseum Gutenstein.

We recommend wearing a bike helmet on rides. Wear appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Remember to bring protection from the rain and sun. Be sure to bring plenty to drink.
From Wiener Neustadt, we follow EuroVelo 9 for a while along the Wienerwald until we reach Theresienfeld, where we join the Piestingtal Bike Trail. The Piestingtal Bike Route takes us through Markt Piesting and Waldegg to Reichental, where we take the turnoff toward Miesenbach to the Gauermann Museum. On the way back along the Piestingtal Bike Route, we head straight to Gutenstein to the Forest Farmers’ Museum.

From Vienna and Graz, take the bus to the center of Wiener Neustadt and head toward the train station.
Getting to Wiener Neustadt: Regular train service from Vienna and Graz.
Return trip to Wiener Neustadt: Trains run regularly back to Wiener Neustadt from Gutenstein Station.
